Mr. Govind Sarda occupies pride of place as the Chairman of the group and has been guiding the company and it’s subsidiaries with his foresight and great management aptitude like few others we could proudly mention. During his 40 years of piloting this corporate ship he has managed to guide it through calm and tempest – never once faltering at the wheel.

Govind Sarda has established himself as a pioneer in the Real Estate industry of Kolkatta, Capital of West Bengal in India. He developed business interests in the Jute industry during the course of time and successfully consolidated his position in the Pigment Industry too. So, a man with many virtues not to mention being self-made – this businessman has been places and plans to go many more.

While in the post-independence era when Kolkatta lost the interest of many business houses due to the consolidation of the communist mindset in the state, Govind Sarda decided to hold his ground – and grow like an oak, as he believes, that even the great Oak tree would not have grown to the size it is if that one tiny little acorn had not held its ground. And hold his ground he did, to grow into that unshakable principled business man that Kolkatta and the rest of the country has grown to sit up and take notice of. However, greatness and recognition brings with it an ugly load of jealousy and Govind Sarda has had more than his share of it, with a bit of salt needless to say.

But will all the adverse publicity deter Govind Sarda in his endeavor to serve the various industries he has strived to establish and improve? I guess that smile on his face says it all!
